Simply Natural Family Does it Once Again

Alongside Bar16 with Their 2016 JuJu Riddim

Port of Spain, Trinidad

Simply Natural Family and their producer Robert "SN" Baptiste dropped a UMOJA masterpiece today when they released their Carnival 2016 JuJu Riddim. The production comprises of both authentic African and Trinidadian instrumentals that intertwine the cultures and demand the entire world to pay attention to this unique combination. In essence, Simply Natural Family's intentions were to introduce a different approach for 2k16 and decided to be creative in their own rights and increased the "Bpms" together with the magnificent Bar16 crew. Within a few weeks, the JuJu Riddim was conceived and ready to execute pure destruction. Once the production was completed a number of artistes such as Iwer George, Skinny Banton featuring Mr. Killa, Marlon 'D' Manager, and Remixah were all extremely impressed and jumped on the rhythm immediately.

More so, the JuJu is a deadly contender for the "Soca Monarch" and once the music hit the streets the people would certainly confirm the prediction for the power soca competition. Overall, this particular production exhumes a cultural representation of not just Trinidad and Tobago but African roots entirely. During the course of listening to the music one can feel the vibration of the drums penetrating not just through your earlobes, but mind, body, and soul. It entails a power that will definitely compel masqueraders, spectators, and the VIP section to break loose and get on bad. By all means, this one is coming with full force, no mercy, no apologies and no sympathy for other big names in the industry. Question to ponder on; "Where does that leave Monk Machel?"

And of course, SNF did what people have been craving for in the soca world, they innovatively produced songs with good beats, and substantial meaning, something that has been lacking for the past ten years in the soca arena. Inevitably, from a global standpoint "Trinidadians" have been complaining about not being able to hear good soca music anymore from the twin island. A huge percentage of them are a bit tired of the same themes over and over each year and by the look of things, SNF just might change the negative conception for 2016. At this juncture, primarily the small islands like Barbados, St. Vincent, Grenada, and St. Lucia are the ones representing soca music for the past three years throughout the Caribbean communities leaving soca lovers to wonder what is going on with sweet T&T and its national music.

The challenges are phenomenal, and the stakes are high for Simply Natural Family, but with exemplary team -work, diligence, determination, ambition, love for the culture and its music, long-term support from friends and family, and their overflowing volcano of talents will always allow this dynamic group of musical prodigies to be the best now, and in the near future. And for the leader of the SNF gang, Mr. Baptiste is most certainly a force to be reckoned with. At age 22 he has visions of greatness for his music career and goes above and beyond to develop his brand. Soon the world will know who Robert "SN" Baptiste is and the respect and admiration that he so deserves will be thrown upon him like the confetti we see falling from the sky in the "Soca Monarch". With that said CaribbeanNation wishes Simply Natural Family all the best for 2016 and we will be jumping and waving to the JuJu Riddim all the way.
